This was the first thing I made and was happy with, there isn't much going on but I have learnt a lot since I first made this, I will post more soon.
A masterclass of Japanese blacksmith forging and made with the finest Japanese steel, this Katana is made and wheeled by only the best samurai the Shogun considers worthy of being the legendary Cherryblossom Samurai. Being well maintain and only preforming perfect slices, the blade looks as perfect as the day it was forged. With the cherry blossom tsuba the blade is blessed by the Kami, the blade has a pinkest tint to it, it is to only be swung with perfect swings and only for peace, never to be swung out of rage.
The current Cherryblossom Samurai came up with an idea for his armor; what if he took the Pauldron from his shoulder and mounted it to his arm to craft a new experimental shield. With layered padding, the shield should have an easier time absorbing lethal strikes. With a regular Pauldron being made from leather, silk and iron, this slightly modified one is made the same way with the only difference being the iron chain armor with small plates of iron woven in and the leather straps for the arm.
